We had a very brief but lovely stay at this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Dining room had lovely views. Dinner & breakfast were most enjoyable. Bedroom had everything you need.

Very nice but could be even better We had a pleasant stay at Glasson Lakehouse Hotel. The room was spacious but beds a little hard. The staff were friendly and helpful. No milk or spoons on table at breakfast was irritating. We thought that the hot tubs were overpriced. The hotel has a lot of nice features but a little more attention to detail would help.

Booked this for my husbands 60th birthday. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite. Have to say this was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. However the service in the bar is very slow and if someone orders a cocktail you will be waiting ages to be served. Dinner in the restaurant was nice but not fabulous. The expresso martini I ordered wasn’t the best either. Went to the bar after dinner and again service was slow. At last orders my husband went to order but was ignored as again the barmen were making cocktails. Eventually gave up and went to bed. We got to use the hot tubs the next morning which was just fab. Overall we had a great night but improvements could be made.

I have never stayed here before but loved the location The two nights was to celebrate a birthday. I phoned the hotel to let them know our reason for staying. They really made a effort in the room deco- balloons, happy birthday letters on the bed and a birthday cake made from the towels- simple but sooo lovely The room decor as is the hotel super. We booked the hot tub for our arrival which was perfect The rooms are well maintained and the record player is such a great idea as are the straighteners. We ate dinner in Bonnie’s which was delicious Breakfast was first class too Outdoor pool was perfect too Highly recommend

Came here with my Mum as a Mother’s Day present and was left very underwhelmed. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms very spacious however is not at the standard it is advertised as. The service in the restaurant was nothing short of appalling & cocktails were horrendous. The staff seem to be very young and inexperienced, lacking sufficient service training - waiting 10 minutes to be seated when the restaurant was empty, bringing the wrong drinks( after waiting 15 minutes for them when there was no one in the restaurant), no water for the table & dirty glasses left on the table. Definitely not the standard of service acceptable considering the price you are paying to stay. The outdoor pool is nice but cold , definitely needs to be warmer considering Irish weather. Won’t be returning anytime soon

We stayed one night B&B and we had an evening meal but paid extra for the meal. The hotel is really fabulous. Not in a typical kinda way, but it’s very quirky and different but has all the luxury you would expect from a lake house. We loved Toms bar, we loved that people had their dogs (even large dogs) with them and we loved how relaxed everyone seemed, even the staff. Nobody was dressed in suits or any of that but still everyone looked professional and friendly and welcoming. The grounds of this hotel are amazing, really well kept and plenty of walks and beautiful scenery around every corner. The breakfast was excellent and truly enjoyable when you can order and sit down for breakfast instead of a buffet. Dinner wasn’t as good as I would have hoped. The menu wasn’t what we expected and the food was served great and looked very well presented but it just wasn’t to our liking. The room was fab, different but brilliant. We loved the addition of a record player and Bluetooth speaker and the record we got in our room was Madonna…. My absolute favourite so that was a big hit for me. The bed was comfortable and large. Coffee machine was good and plenty of sockets and amenities apart from a shoe horn! My BF always needs a shoe horn for his “going out” shoes. The hair straightener was a great addition, I don’t know why every hotel doesn’t provide one. Over all, we had a great stay and we have been telling everyone to try it for themselves. We will definitely be back and hopefully we’ll have a longer stay next time.
